Barmenia now with future-proof MULTIVERSA IFP e-banking portal

14 June 2011 - The German insurance group Barmenia decides on CoCoNet’s future-proof e-banking solution MULTIVERSA IFP International Finance Portal for the secure processing of the company wide payment transactions.

In the selection process Barmenia focused on several important requirements for a new e-banking system to replace the current solution provided by a bank. According to Barmenia the decision was made for CoCoNet for several reasons: MULTIVERSA IFP perfectly complies with Barmenia’s demand for strong audit and revision security. The system combines proven traceability with a strong authorisation concept.

MULTIVERSA IFP’s convenient highly automated connectivity with both SAP and non-SAP ERP systems together with the support of the latest SEPA format rulebooks for Barmenia have also been important reasons for CoCoNet’s innovative MULTIVERSA IFP as a central e-banking portal.

Barmenia also set a high value on an easy installation, recognised maintenance and a quick implementation. Barmenia experienced that the implementation phase of the renowned standard solution MULTIVERSA IFP at Barmenia only took 2 weeks from commissioning to initial operation. The quick implementation was possible thanks to an optimal test phase and a “soft migration” in which the new system supported both FTAM and EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard).
