Until now French banks have used the ETEBAC communications standard. In the second step a distributed digital signature will come into operation, conveniently offering decentralised and secure digital signing of payment transactions.
With the change from ETEBAC to EBICS French banks and their corporate customers make use of the Internet as new transmission route for e-banking. The banking server MULTIVERSA IBS with EBICS for banks in France can processes all usual French payment formats via Straight-Through-Processing (STP) with a high performance level.
