CoCoNet celebrates its 25th anniversary
November 20, 2009 - In November 1984 a group of talented young scientists at the University Dusseldorf computer centre decided to get together to set up in business and CoCoNet was born.
CoCoNets rapidly grew from a dozen employees to 50 employees by the beginning of the nineties and now stands at over 150 employees. Since 2004 the Polish subsidiary CoCoNet Polska has also become part of the CoCoNet group. Today CoCoNet clearly focuses on payment transactions between banks and banking customers as well as on products for communication within the health care sector.
The e-banking Client MULTIWEB Banking that CoCoNet launched in the mid-nineties represents a milestone in the emerging electronic banking. Indeed an enhanced version the software is still successfully employed by many German banks.
CoCoNet is now concentrating the latest generation of e-banking solutions in the MULTIVERSA product suite. The international finance portal MULTIVERSA IFP International Finance Portal is considered as a flagship among finance portals. MULTIVERSA IFP and its derivative MULTIVERSA PBS Professional Banking System today are in use for the processing of domestic and international payment transactions as well as cash management at numerous international banks such as Citi, Deutsche Postbank, GE Artesia Bank, HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt, ING, LBBW, Rabobank and SEB but also in large corporations and service providers such as ADP, Allianz, BBDO, Deutsche Telekom, Helvetia and Metro Group.
CoCoNet would like to cordially thank all customers, employees, business partners and friends for the many years of fruitful collaboration.
CoCoNet will continue to develop its core competencies further, such as our extensive knowledge about payment transactions in Europe, in order to remain a reliable partner for banks and corporates in all aspects of electronic banking.
