Bank access for corporates via SWIFTNet
October 5, 2008 - International banks have an access to SWIFTNet, the IP-based communications network of SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).
Since 2001 SWIFT offers large corporates a direct access to their SWIFTNet in two options: Member Administered Closed User Group (MA-CUG) and Standardized CORporate Environment (SCORE). Using these SWIFT options corporates reach all domestic and foreign banks in a uniform manner via one standardised SWIFTNet access.
CoCoNet’s e-banking Portal MULTIVERSA IFP International Finance Portal provides the required connectivity to send and receive data messages via SWIFTNet e.g. as a part of a MA-CUG. The supported SWIFT services are FIN and FileAct. In case a corporate runs its own technical SWIFT environment including a SWIFT Gateway with MULTIVERSA IFP the corporate can directly use SWIFT services via FIN and FileAct.
