Planned implementation of EBICS 2.4 in CoCoNet products

July 29, 2008 - CoCoNet’s E-Banking solutions support today’s relevant communications standards.

These are national standards, like EBICS, BCS and HBCI in Germany and ETEBAC 3 and 5 in France. Furthermore, large corporates often make use of individual communications standards for the host-to-host communication, e.g. via SWIFT MA-CUG.

In Germany the Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard (EBICS) which is valid since 2008 as a ZKA-standard will take an important position for the data interchange over the Internet. (The ZKA represents the associations of the German banking industry.) This new German multi-bank standard is mandatory for all German banks and after a transition period of 3 years will entirely replace the former BCS-FTAM standards.
