CoCoNet products in use at Deutsche Postbank AG

July 17, 2008 - Since many years Deutsche Postbank offers its corporate customers proven e-banking and cash management solutions with the CoCoNet products MULTIWEB Banking and MULTIWEB ProCash (available only for the German market) under the name of MultiWeb and MultiWeb Plus. In order to keep pace with the current market requirements Deutsche Postbank has extended its e-banking offer.

Therefore the new standards EBICS (for Internet banking in Germany) and SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) have been added to MULTIWEB Banking. Thanks to the integration of the new EBICS standard MULTIWEB Banking has now become a standard multi-banking product. This makes the system an ideal solution for customers who are looking for an easy to operate multi-banking customer software. The functional scope of MULTIWEB Banking for Deutsche Postbank now also covers a version for Linux as well as the international payment format SWIFT MT101 (Request for transfer).

After the successful implementation of MULTIWEB ProCash during many years, the time was due to introduce MULTIVERSA PBS Professional Banking System in order to meet the extended requirements for a modern e-banking system. MULTIVERSA PBS as local customer portal meets current and future requirements concerning usability and technology: modern portal architecture, comprehensive specific functions as well as easy installation and a widely automated web-based version management.

In the future, both product lines will be available at Deutsche Postbank also in English language.

Through the extension of its portfolio Postbank offers different corporate customer’s target groups modern e-banking applications. These also support the new standards which are effective since the beginning of the year. Thanks to the extension of the functionality the rising customer expectations on new electronic banking solutions will be met.
