CoCoNet UserGroups 2007
November 22, 2007 - CoCoNet’s product strategy, organisational development and the upcoming SEPA launch were the hot topics at the annual CoCoNet UserGroup for international banks in Amsterdam.
CoCoNet Managing Director Ulrich Lischewski presented the company’s vision for the further development of its products. > "We are going to enhance our MULTIVERSA product suite by new, strategic applications in the field of financial transactions. We are especially focussing on trade finance, e-invoicing and FX," said Ulrich Lischewski. Another focal point is the further development of the user interfaces based on latest web technologies.
Axel B. Wiethoff, CoCoNet Managing Director, introduced CoCoNet’s new service model and other issues concerning CoCoNet’s organisational development. Among others, he introduced the MULTIVERSA IFP product teams, the test activities and the new security development framework.
For the upcoming SEPA launch in January, CoCoNet’s partner banks are well-prepared. CoCoNet’s products including the core products MULTIVERSA IFP International Finance Portal and MULTIVERSA PBS Professional Banking System, are completely SEPA-ready. Appropriate modules supporting the first SEPA payment instrument, the SEPA Credit Transfer, have been developed in 2007 and are available soon.
For 2008, CoCoNet announced new, regular special workshops for MULTIVERSA IFP and MULTIVERSA PBS users. > "In 2007, we had several special workshops to involve our partner banks in our product development. Our experiences were extremely positive, so we decided to offer such workshops on a regular basis for our core products," explains CoCoNet Managing Director Axel Wiethoff and adds: "And we are very much looking forward to the co-operation with our partner banks in 2008."
