MULTIWEB Banking client with EBICS available

April 5, 2007 - CoCoNet's market-leading internet banking system MULTIWEB Banking is now available with the new German internet banking standard EBICS which is mandatory for banks from 2008.

Corporate customers of German banks from all sectors appreciate MULTIWEB Banking as a user-friendly and practice-oriented internet banking system. Even before the German banks adopted EBICS, MULTIWEB Banking facilitated secure web-based e-banking transactions with multiple banks via the MULTIWEB protocol developed by CoCoNet. With EBICS, MULTIWEB Banking now provides a complete functionality for multi-bank communication.

Besides EBICS, MULTIWEB Banking still supports data exchange via the MULTIWEB protocol. The connection with the bank's back-end systems can be realised via standard bank servers such as CoCoNet's MULTIVERSA IBS International Banking Server and MULTICOM Banking Server, but likewise via any other EBICS-ready bank server.

First versions of the new MULTIWEB Banking client with EBICS have already been delivered to German banks.
