Hanse Orga and CoCoNet form strategic partnership

February 9, 2007 - CoCoNet, market-leading provider of electronic banking solutions and Hanse Orga, one of the leading providers of modern software tools in the area of corporate finance management and accounting, formed a strategic partnership. Hanse Orga integrates CoCoNet modules for bank connections in the Payment Factory solution ipcNavigator®. With this solution, Hanse Orga provides companies a Payment Factory solution that is completely integrated in SAP to realize a centralized payment transaction and to communicate with banks, incl. connection to the SWIFTNet.

Until now, companies who use SAP need to use separate electronic banking systems for the data exchange with their banks. A continuous electronic processing from within SAP was not possible. Due to the integration of CoCoNet components in the ipcNavigator, Hanse Orga can now provide companies a central platform in SAP to perform their domestic and foreign payment transactions and manage bank statement data. Non-SAP companies can use these functionalities via SAP WEB-GUI. The release processes are regulated in the ipcNavigator workflow that allows, for example, multi-level release procedures and messages to staff via e-mail on the basis of the SAP authorization concept.

The ipcNavigator communicates with both national and international banks. This is done via a direct connection to the banks or via an integrated SWIFTNet Connect. Any format is generally possible as the integrated Payment Factory allows a conversion to any format agreed upon with the banks. The ipcNavigator also supports the new payment transaction standards that will be valid from 2008 on: EBICS for Internet banking in Germany and SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) for transnational payment transactions in Europe. The data exchange with national and international banks is realized with the CoCoNet components that are integrated seamlessly in the Hanse Orga solution.
