GarantiBank signed contract for new digital banking platform

GarantiBank International NV (GBI) today announced that they had signed a contract with CoCoNet to provide a new digital banking platform. The solution is based on CoCoNet’s MULTIVERSA product suite. In a first step, GBI will transform their corporate banking section on the new platform. Enhanced by sophisticated payment and cash management functionality from CoCoNet’s corporate banking suite, the platform will provide great user experience and many new comfortable features such as secure document exchange and mobile token security.

“We see a lot of potential in the corporate and business banking sector for our bank,” explains Marco Witteveen, COO of GarantiBank International NV. “Crucial for the success in such a competitive market is a service offering that stands out of the crowd. With CoCoNet’s solution we can create a very customer-centric banking platform, that allows a perfect evolution for our brand.”

From the beginning, the partnership between GBI and CoCoNet has been very trustful. Essential for the bank’s decision were MULTIVERSA’s well-established out-of-the-box functionalities, which enable a very short time to market and many possibilities for individualization to enable bank-specific offerings and front-ends. “We are very proud to have won GarantiBank as a new customer. The digital transformation of a bank is often a long way and we are happy to accompany our customers with a solution that enables stepwise digitalisation projects,” welcomes Björn Hassing, CEO of CoCoNet, the contract.

The going live with the first corporate customers in The Netherlands and Germany has been planned for end of 2018. Further expansion steps for the platform are being planned, for example for further markets and target groups.
